Limassol, Cyprus — RESET and Apollon Ladies F.C. proudly announce the successful implementation of the HER Sport Erasmus+ project, an 18-month initiative dedicated to advancing gender equality through the power of football.
The project delivered strong, measurable impact across schools and communities in Cyprus:
100 educators trained in gender equality and inclusive practices
15 inter-school football matches involving more than 1,000 children
2 gender-equality festivals with 200 participants
HER Sport is on a clear mission to use football as a tool to challenge stereotypes, empower young people, and promote equal opportunities for all. Through education, sport, and community engagement, the project helped create environments where girls and boys can thrive equally, on and off the field.
