Access for All Festival – The first festival of its kind on the island, dedicated to diversity, equality, and shared experiences

A society that thrives is one where spaces, opportunities, and experiences are accessible to all. This is the vision of the Access4All Festival, created to celebrate diversity, promote equality, and show what it means to design experiences that truly welcome everyone.
Now in its fourth year, the festival continues to transform the Limassol Old Port into a lively gathering point for people of all ages and abilities.
The program is rich and varied, offering activities that bring people together through sport, art, and creativity. Visitors will have the chance to enjoy 3×3 basketball, experience Paralympic sports, take part in theatrical performances and creative workshops, explore the unique format of the Human Library, visit educational booths, and celebrate through music and artistic performances. Every activity is fully accessible and free of charge, turning the idea of “access for all” into a lived reality.
“Participation should never depend on circumstances or conditions, it should be available to all, freely and equally,” notes Loizos Pitsillides, organizer of the Access4All Festival.
What makes Access4All special is not only the diversity of its program, but its spirit. it is a space where barriers are removed, stories are shared, and communities connect. By opening the festival to everyone on equal terms, it demonstrates how public life can, and should, be structured around accessibility from the very beginning.
