Closing the Digital Gap for Women Neets through serious Gaming– Coding4Win
The Coding4Win project aims to to equip adult centres and educators with a series of educational material (the Coding4Win curriculum, Coding4Win Digital Knowledge Hub, and the Coding4Win
Game) that will assist women NEETs in acquiring ICT knowledge areas and digital skills most requested in online job advertisements, in encouraging women to re-enter the labor market, offering them a basic introduction to the world of digital skills, ICT and coding using innovative training methodologies such as micro-learning and serious gaming.
Objectives
- To create an attractive and up-to-date tailor-made adult educational material and learning opportunities for women -NEETs in the field of digital, ICT, and coding knowledge and skills through the Coding4Win curriculum and training materials
- Enhance the coding education, and the transversal competencies of the target group focusing on skills such as creativity, interpersonal cooperation, cross-cultural cooperation, coding communication, problem-solving, and selfexpression, through the Coding4Win Digital Knowledge Hub
- Enhancing digital literacy and basic coding skills of disadvantaged women and improving women’s ICT confidence and ability through Coding4Win serious game
- To encourage women NEETs in learning more about IT skills, as a source of economic growth, and act as role models.
- To raise awareness regarding the importance of women NEETs digital and technology reskilling and upskilling through the dissemination of the Coding4Win project results and through online events organized by the partnership.
