Results
  1.  Addressing digital transformation through development of digital readiness, resilience, and capacity Two of the main, open-source products of the project will be a) a self-paced, online course specifically designed to meet the learning needs of the direct target groups b) a virtual exhibition space in which the final beneficiaries will have the opportunity to put in practice their newly acquired skills and promote their work. The digital nature of the main project outcomes, together with the fact that digital skills are at the core of the learning programme, directly address the above priority. Moreover, the project intends, through the significant and coordinated Dissemination and Exploitation activities, to capitalise on the uptake potential of its main products by adult and non-formal education providers and institutions, thus contributing towards increasing their capacity and readiness on digital education provision.
  2. Improving the availability of high-quality, flexible learning opportunities for adults As stated above, a freely available tailored online course to meet the learning needs of current and aspiring adult artists will be made. Moreover, the project will also design and implement national workshops to the final beneficiaries, by using the online course and its resources as support material. Both the online course and the workshop methodology will be developed based on the specific learning needs of the target groups, identified, and analysed in depth during the first project stages (WP2). It is evident that those results will directly contribute to the improvement of the availability of high quality, tailored and flexible learning opportunities for adults, especially to those from vulnerable groups 3) Creating upskilling pathways, improving accessibility and increasing take-up of adult education The main target group of the project is current and aspiring artists and cultural workers, with a focus on those from vulnerable societal groups, and women. Vulnerable societal groups are defined as migrants/refugees, adults from remote, rural areas, long term unemployed, LGBTQI, artists with disabilities, etc. The consortium consists of partners with significant experience in working with those groups as well as with direct access to them through their networks. Specific criteria will be set both during the first stages of the project (WP2) and during the implementation of the national workshops (WP4) to ensure that participants do belong at the highest percentage possible to the above groups. Finally, a mentoring scheme will be set up, so to provide regular guidance and support to them towards implementing their newly acquired skills and promote their work.
