Environmental Festival in Rural Areas of Cyprus – A collaboration with Primary Schools
A sustainable future requires communities that care, families that act, and children who grow up knowing that their voices and choices matter. These are the foundations of the Environmental Festival, an initiative that transforms awareness into lived experience and invites everyone to take part in shaping a greener tomorrow.
As part of the ClimateEarly project, RESET together with the primary schools of Pelendri and Trimiklini organized a morning filled with creativity, discovery, and celebration at the primary school of Pelendri. The school grounds became a vibrant space where environmental awareness took center stage through art, performance, play, and hands-on learning.
The festival is also an effort to create climate awareness for young children by introducing them to key concepts such as weather and climate, energy, atmosphere, water, plants, and animals. These basic principles, learned early, form the foundation for building environmentally conscious generations.
The Environmental Festival is co-organized by RESET and the primary schools of Pelendri and Trimiklini, under the auspices of the Office of the Commissioner for the Environment.

At its heart, HER SPORT is about more than just playing football. It’s about creating opportunities where boys and girls can learn, train, and compete together. Where they can build mutual respect and understanding through shared experiences. By bringing young people into the same space, the project dismantles outdated stereotypes and replaces them with teamwork, trust, and equality.
In Cyprus, RESET has taken this vision into classrooms and football pitches across the island.
