IGNITED-POWER is on a mission to combat the marginalization of LGBTQIA+ youth.
Through inclusive education, participatory research, and cross-sector collaboration, the project empowers young people to become agents of change in their communities.
By bridging policy, practice, and youth voices, IGNITED-POWER promotes equity, combats SOGIESC-based prejudice, and strengthens social inclusion.
Results
IGNITED-POWER will (1) enhance inclusion and diversity by creating educational and media resources to combat
SOGIESC discrimination; (2) improve the quality of work for youth workers by providing them with material centered around
SOGIESC issues, enabling them to effectively address discrimination and harassment faced by youth, and (3) strengthen
links between research, policy and practice through multi-stakeholder roundtables involving policy-makers, LGBTQIA+
youth and youth workers.
