PARTICIYOU project
The PARTICIYOU project aims to empower disabled youth by fostering their active participation in sports and community activities, promoting inclusion, and improving accessibility.
Results
a) Establishment of a User-Scrutiny Panel with 20 disabled youth, community sports representatives, and disability
workers to guide the development of inclusive resources.
b) Creation of 1 Community Sports Kit and 1 Training Pack in EN and GR, piloted with 30 participants, to promote
inclusion in sports activities.
c) Development of the ParticiYou Hub, an accessible digital platform with resources and a database of 60 accessible
sports centres (30 per partner county).
d) Training of 40 sports representatives and disability organizations in inclusive sports practices, leading to the
designation of ParticiYou Champions.
e) Organization of 10 disability-led community sports games involving 100 disabled and non-disabled youth participants.
f) A final dissemination event and documentary screening with 100 participants, sharing insights and best practices.
