PROCEED – Promoting Empowerment and Civic Engagement of Disadvantaged NEET

PROCEED – Promoting Empowerment and Civic Engagement of Disadvantaged NEETs is a two-year Erasmus+ project aimed at enhancing the socio-economic inclusion and employability of marginalized NEETs (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) aged 17–26. The project gives youth workers in Greece, Italy, Germany, and Cyprus the tools they need to effectively assist underprivileged adolescents by enhancing their capacities. In addition to encouraging collaboration and knowledge exchange throughout Europe, PROCEED helps NEETs enhance their civic involvement and job-readiness skills through focused training, workshops, and international exchanges.

Results

Increased Knowledge and Capacity: To improve their capacity to interact with and assist marginalized NEETs, 80 youth workers and practitioners will take part in four training sessions and two transnational learning workshops.

International Exchange and Learning: In order to promote transnational cooperation and expose themselves to new methods, three young workers will participate in foreign exchange tours.

Support for Marginalized Youth: To foster civic engagement, improve employability, and develop transversal skills, 80 NEETs will take part in training exercises and multiplier events.

Long-Term Impact: It is anticipated that enhanced motivation and better job preparedness among underprivileged adolescents, in addition to more robust support systems, will help ensure their sustained integration into the workforce and society.
