UNICOPS is an ISF EU-funded project uniting 21 partners from 7 countries to enhance the safety of university campuses against CBRNE (Chemical, Biological, Radiological/Nuclear, and Explosive) threats. The project will develop integrated protection systems through research, site assessments, and real-life exercises, aiming to safeguard academic environments while preserving their open and inclusive nature.
Key Deliverables
- Comprehensive report on regulation, procedures and CBRNE preparedness of HEI based on desk studies, interviews and study visits and partners universities.
- CBRNE procedures in the area of prevention, protection and response to CBRNE terrorist act including equipment recommendations.
- Protocols regarding hazardous substance storage and disposal.
- CBRNE emergency management application.
- Training programme consisting of a traditional (handbook, leaflets etc.) and innovative (e-learning, interactive game) solutions.
