What you will learn in this course
This training seminar seeks to raise awareness and education of parents and young people on the subject of pathological gambling and the best ways to prevent it. Through interactive activities, parents and young people will learn to recognize the different types of gambling and the differences between entertainment and addiction, as well as the negative effects of pathological involvement with them on the individual and their environment.
The training session will analyze the common misconceptions about the role of ‘luck’ that gives players the illusion of control and will help young people find alternative, healthier and more functional options that they can develop in their lives.
