Job Opening: Project Manager-Trainer

RESET aims to “create prosperous and inclusive societies” through Research, Education and Dialogue. As coordinator and partner in more than 35 European and International projects RESET undertakes high-quality management and implementation while achieving a high dissemination reach across our projects.

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate as a European Project Manager and Trainer. The candidate will deal with aspects of project management such as attending and hosting transnational project meetings and trainings, creating original educational content, organizing trainings & workshops, and implementing and collecting data during the piloting of new tools, among others.

The new position is open for full-time engagement. Successful candidates will be offered an attractive remuneration package in accordance with their qualifications and experience.

We are looking for individuals who demonstrate the following attributes:

  • Excellent writing and speaking skills in English and Greek
  • Willingness to learn and take initiatives
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • A dynamic personality with innate capacity for flexible thinking, problem-solving and working well under pressure
  • Experience in training adults, youth, professionals, and non-formal audiences
  • Background in environmental sciences will be favourably evaluated

The Duties and Responsibilities of the Position

  • Conduct literature reviews and prepare research/policy reports
  • Conduct fieldwork research (interviews, survey research, observations, focus groups)
  • Communicate with partners from all over EU for effective implementation of project
  • Public speaking in the context of conferences, trainings, workshops
  • Prepare and deliver workshops with audiences of diverse backgrounds
  • Prepare data collection instruments and collect and analyze data
  • Facilitate dissemination of project via online and offline activities
  • Travel to attend project meetings, conferences and training
  • Manage projects and offer administrative support for research projects
  • Prepare and deliver project presentations and trainings
  • Execute any other duty and responsibility assigned by the Management Team

Preferred Qualifications

  • A master in any field related to social sciences/humanities/environmental sciences. A PhD would be considered an advantage
  • Previous experience with EU funded projects in a similar position
  • Demonstrable knowledge in any of the following domains: Environmental education, active citizenship, social inclusion.
  • A proven track record of successful project implementation and/or training experience
