Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Proposal Writer with expertise in writing proposals for EU-funded programmes, including HORIZON, CERV, ISF, and EU4HEALTH. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying funding opportunities, developing compelling proposals, and ensuring compliance with EU guidelines and standards. This position requires a blend of technical AND research writing skills and a deep understanding of EU funding frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proposal Development:
    • Research, write, and edit high-quality proposals and applications for EU-funded calls, including HORIZON, CERV, ISF, and EU4HEALTH.
    • Analyze call requirements, guidelines, and evaluation criteria to tailor proposals to specific EU funding schemes.
    • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather information, develop project concepts, and prepare comprehensive submissions.
    • Ensure all proposals align with the strategic goals of the organization and EU funding objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Liaise with EU institutions, funding bodies, and project partners to stay informed on policy changes, upcoming calls, and best practices.
    • Facilitate partnerships and consortium-building for joint applications.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure proposals adhere to EU regulations, funding guidelines, and eligibility criteria.
    • Conduct thorough reviews for accuracy, coherence, and compliance before submission.
    • Monitor post-submission feedback and integrate lessons learned into future proposals.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in writing and managing proposals for EU-funded programmes (e.g., HORIZON, CERV, ISF, EU4HEALTH).
  • Masters or PhD degree in a relevant field (e.g., International Relations, Public Policy, European Studies, Health, Social Sciences, Political Sciences or similar).
  • Proven track record of successful EU proposal submissions and funding awards.
  • Strong understanding of EU funding mechanisms, proposal formats, and evaluation processes.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to interpret complex guidelines and translate technical information into persuasive narratives.
  • Experience working in multicultural, interdisciplinary teams and managing cross-border projects.
  • Proficiency in proposal management tools; familiarity with online submission portals (e.g., EU Funding & Tenders Portal).

Key Competencies:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (additional EU languages are an asset).
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.

Position Overview:

RESET is seeking a Project Manager – Trainer to coordinate, implement, and deliver the full scope of activities across EU-funded projects in the fields of education, social policy, sustainability, gender equality, diversity, and inclusion.

This full-time role is central to turning project goals into concrete, high-quality actions while ensuring full compliance with EU funding requirements and maintaining alignment with RESET’s strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management and Research:

  • Plan, coordinate, and implement project-related activities within EU-funded programmes (ISF, CERV, Erasmus+, AMIF, Horizon).
  • Oversee project workflows, timelines, deliverables, and administrative requirements.
  • Prepare and submit high-quality progress and final reports in line with EU regulations.
  • Manage communication with partners, stakeholders, and consortium members.
  • Travel to attend domestic and international project meetings, training sessions, and events.
  • Ensure strategic alignment between project activities and RESET’s mission.

Training:

  • Design and deliver training sessions for external stakeholders and project beneficiaries.
  • Facilitate workshops, seminars, and capacity-building activities across multiple thematic areas.

Research & Content Development:

  • Conduct desk research, policy analysis, surveys, fieldwork, and needs assessments.
  • Translate research findings into actionable recommendations, tools, and training materials.

Stakeholder & Event Coordination:

  • Organise and facilitate project meetings, outreach events, conferences, and public-facing activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, communities, and institutions.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A postgraduate (master’s) qualification in Social Sciences, Humanities, Political Sciences, Education, Health, Digital Learning, or any other related field. A PhD would be considered an advantage.
  • Proven experience managing EU-funded projects (ISF, Erasmus+, AMIF, CERV, Horizon).
  • Strong training or facilitation experience across diverse audiences.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Research skills (qualitative and quantitative) and strong writing abilities.
  • Flexibility to travel as required.
